Dr. Jaco Blaauw is a chiropractor with more than 16 years’ experience who is dedicated to helping people move better, function optimally, and live healthier lives. Originally from Namibia, he developed an early appreciation for health, movement, and performance through a lifelong love of sports, cycling, and the outdoors. His passion for helping both people and animals led him to complete qualifications in both chiropractic and veterinary chiropractic.
Before moving to the Netherlands in 2019, Jaco built and led three successful chiropractic practices in the Western Cape of South Africa. Since relocating, he has cared for patients across a range of practices around The Hague before founding Align Collective in 2025.
Jaco believes chiropractic is about far more than relieving pain. While many patients first seek care because they are experiencing pain or injury, his goal is to help people restore optimal nervous system function so they can move better, recover more effectively, build resilience, and enjoy a healthier, more balanced life.
Patients often describe Jaco as approachable, thorough, and genuinely invested in helping them feel and function at their best. He takes the time to understand each person’s individual goals and creates personalized care plans that support lasting improvements in function, performance, and overall well-being. He works with patients of all ages and stages of life—from infants and children to pregnant and postpartum mothers, athletes, working professionals, and older adults—and believes that everyone deserves care tailored to their unique needs and goals.
In addition to treating people, Jaco also treats both small and large animals through veterinary chiropractic. He enjoys helping animals move more freely, recover from injury, and perform at their best, whether they are beloved family pets or horses.
